The data comes from the Association of American Travel Agents and Travel Writers.
The AP analyzed the results of a survey conducted by The Travel Writers Association and analyzed the responses of more than 1,400 American and British food club members, including their travel habits and dining habits.
The survey was conducted by the Associated Press on behalf of the Associated Travel Writers and the Association for Travel Writers Education and Advocacy.
The travel writers’ association and the AP have a shared goal of increasing the diversity of the travel industry.
